Lynn writes: "I am from the northern part of the Beaudesert Shire, which is extremely fortunate to have so many renown artists. I graduated from Southbank Institute of T.A.F.E. in 2005 with an Advanced Diploma in Ceramics, and this experience gave me a broad insight into art, particularly of ceramics and all its complex components. I enjoy the challenge of experimentation and the variety afforded with this art, using many firing and glazing techniques.

"I am a memer of the Beaudesert Potters and through this Association have attended workshops run by known artists in the ceramic field. These included Chester Nealie (woodfiring), Midge Johanson (sculpture, Megan Puls (large wheel throwing), Jill Guthbertson (mould making), and Darren O'Brien (screen printing). There is always something to learn, and this aspect is what is so interesting about the ceramic art!"

Lynn has had her work exhibited in various galleries around Queensland. Photos of her work have been published in the Journal of Australian Ceramics (2004), and Queensland Homes Magazine (Autumn, 2006)

We are pleased to have her varied and artistic pieces at Mountain Dreams Atelier! Come in and see her latest Saggar fired work!
