Margret was born in Germany and moved to Australia when she was 28 years old. She has been living on Mount Tamborine since 1989 with her husband, dog and cat. About the same time she moved to the mountain, Margret was introduced to ceramics and loved it on sight. Her favourite things are orchids and butterflies and they sometimes appear in her ceramic work.
